Herewith the most recent developments and measures concerning the Corona virus:
Corona virus: how we deal with the current situation
The Netherlands has a structure in which doctors, laboratories, GGDs and RIVM’s National Coordination Structure for Infectious Disease Control (LCI) work closely together to combat outbreaks of infectious disease. This structure has functioned effectively in comparable situations in the past. As you may know we are in close contact with the GGD and they are in … Read more
Corona: Press conference Dutch Ministry of 6 April translated
This week, Dutch Ministry announced that the current Corona measures remain effective until Tuesday 28 April. It remains important that all individuals abide by these measures. To support the large amount of internationals in The Netherlands, the TVcN (Dutch interpreter and translation centre) has translated the press conference in five of the most common foreign languages in The Netherlands. Corona: hearing test for newborns temporarily cancelled as of March 24
The government has decided to temporarily cancel the hearing test for newborns, out of security reasons. As of the 24th of March, all scheduled appointments are therefore cancelled. This temporary measure, meant to minimise Corona-contamination risks, is at least effective until 6 April. We are investigating with other parties how and when we can carry out the cancelled hearing tests at a later date. Please also check our website for updates: www.zuidzorgjgz.nl/en/corona-update.

Corona: Youth healthcare centre Bergeijk temporarily closed as of 24 March
Following our closure of the youth healthcare centre in the Achtse Barrier in Eindhoven, we also close our location in Bergeijk. Local general practitioners expect to house an increase in (Corona-)patients in the same building as our youth healthcare centre. For that reason we consider our location no longer suited for parents and children. That is why we close our Bergeijk location per Tuesday 24 March until further notice.
Corona: Youth healthcare centre Achtse Barrier as of 24 March temporarily closed

Needless to say that we support this request and that is why we close our youth healthcare centre at the Achtse Barrier as of Tuesday 24 March until further notice.

Corona: what about the risks for children and babies?
We can imagine your concerns about the risks of the Corona virus to young children and babies. At the moment children and babies who have contracted the virus have a bad cold and often do not suffer severe symptons. Children do not form a special risk group. That’s also the reason that child day care… Read more
