Who are we?
Is my child growing properly? When can I give them a sandwich for the first time? When will they say their first words? These are some of the questions you’ll find yourself asking during the first four years of your child’s life. So much happens and so many things change during this time, it’s understandable if you’re left with some questions! All your questions are welcome at our youth healthcare centre. Our doctors and nurses will closely monitor your child’s growth and development, so they can provide you with useful tips and advice. At the same time, nobody knows your child better than you do so your input is very important! We’ll work with you to find out what your little one needs to help them thrive.
The new Platform JGZ 3.0 project was launched on 1 July 2017 as part of a renewed focus on youth healthcare developments based on customer & patient needs. In the context of this approach, the dreams of youth healthcare professionals, chain partners and parents have been bundled into 11 innovative sub-projects, categorized into 4 main themes:
- JGZ Together
- Tailored Approach
A total of 50 ZuidZorg JGZ and Zorgboog employees are involved in the project.
ZuidZorg JGZ works with other healthcare providers, hospitals and social services, such as the Dutch Youth Health Center, general practitioners, midwives, maternity care organizations, Municipal Public Health Services, Veilig Thuis (a helpline for domestic violence, elder abuse and child abuse), Youth & Family Centers and municipalities.
